Belvo lose AIL thriller in injury time
Old Belvedere mounted a late comeback against Cork Con in the AIL on Saturday only to lose to a penalty deep in injury time.
Belvo rallied from 13-0 down at halftime to take a 20-19 lead with just minutes remaining after a late try from Marcus McAllister. Sadly, a penalty deep into injury time was to deny the home side as Cork Con slotted the points to go top of the AIL with a 22-20 win.

Disappointing to see you lose another close game. Thank you to the club and members for your warm hospitality during our recent visit to the Emerald Isle where we were able to catch three of the senior games. We had hoped our leaving would bring better luck to the senior boys. All the best, may see you again next season
